The 3rd dex International Distributors’ Convention was held in Vila-Seca from 26 to 30 September at the PortAventura Convention Centre under the motto, “Production and Sustainability”. The event was organised to celebrate the company’s 30th anniversary and to gather the major international distributors at the informational sessions. Two hundred attendees came from Egypt, Morocco, The Philippines, Thailand, India, The United Arab Emirates, China, Panama, The Dominican Republic, Portugal, South Africa, Mozambique, Greece, Taiwan, Sudan, Mexico, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Jordan, Peru, Malaysia, The Ukraine, Syria, Iran, Ghana, Kuwait, and Pakistan.

The convention’s main agenda was comprised of technical sessions focusing on the main problems the industrial livestock sector is currently facing with respect to productivity and sustainability of farming operations. The conferences were given by renowned professionals such as Dr Emmanuel Manalang, Dr Antonio J. Ramos Girona, Dr Manolito Villarica, Dr José Ignacio Barragán Cos, Dr Eduardo Vila de Juan and Dr David Torrallardona Llobera.

In addition to the presentations, a series of leisure activities were organised that livened up the convention’s programme, and which included a fun team building activity, tours (Barcelona Tour, Route of Modernism, Roman Route), leisure activities (PortAventura Park, Play Golf, Shopping, Hitting the beach, Flamenco Party and Show), and a surprise-filled closing gala.

We’d like to highlight that, at the closing gala, awards were given to the collaborators and distributors to thank them, and in recognition for their contribution to the growth and positioning of dex ibérica as one of the sector’s leading companies. It was a very special occasion for us because we were truly looking forward to being able to share this recognition publicly with all our guests and, at the same time, because we wanted to celebrate our 30th anniversary together.
