MYCOTOXIN-DETOXIFYING AGENTS

Mycotoxin-detoxifying agents

Additive premixtures with the capacity to reduce feed contamination by mycotoxins, either supressing or reducing the absorption of

mycotoxins, promoting their excretion or modifying their mode of action.

Depending on their mode of action, these feed additives may act by reducing the bioavailability of the mycotoxins (adsorbent), or by degrading them or transforming them into less toxic metabolites (biotransformers).

They may also include metabolic agents that help the animal to metabolise absorbed mycotoxins, enhancing the natural detoxification mechanisms (glutathione precursors).

At dex ibérica we have designed a range of anti-mycotoxin premixtures, which have been tested against all of the major mycotoxins by universities and specialised laboratories, enabling us to demonstrate the effectiveness of the products tested, both “in vitro” and “in vivo”, at different pHs, in different animal species and against most mycotoxins.

All of our dex anti-mycotoxin agents are innocuous for animals.
